Fairly clean hotel, enjoyed to be close enough to the bars and dance clubs, restaurants and the bus, coach and train stations, and all the bars, restaurants, sea front thanks to magnificent and stunning location. My budget room was bright on the second level.

The stay in Faro in 1977 was fantastic. the hotel's location was ideal, allowing for easy access to bars and the lively festival happening in the town center. the staff members were friendly and the host was exceptionally kind, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

The hotel was clean and excellent value. The location was nice, just next door to the old town of Faro, close to the marina, and the bus and train station. I truly enjoyed staying in the great, spotless room with a balcony.

We had a lovely stay at 1977. The host Claudia was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our needs. The place was clean and comfortable, and the balcony provided a nice view of the quiet street. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped and we never had any issues with other guests. The location in the center of the old town was perfect, with all facilities nearby. Although there were some drawbacks such as occasional noise from the nearby nightlife and shared bathrooms, these were minor inconveniences that didn't detract from our overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.
